The No.6 2008 IBA Shark Island Challenge Trials

The No.6 is proud to announce its launch in to the
Australian market through its sponsorship of ‘The No.6
Brett Young Trials’ and becoming the official
bodyboard of the 2008 IBA ‘Cronulla Shark Island
Challenge’.
The No.6 has been founded as an ‘anti’ statement by
artisans in the sport of bodyboarding, a collective
who believed the focus of progress in innovative
riding and equipment had been lost. This led to the
forming of The No.6, a company dedicated to the future
development of high performance equipment.
The No.6 strives to meet the demands of core
enthusiasts, to become the breeding ground for the
progressive, the artistic, the anti-establishment, and
the individuality that Bodyboarders have become
renowned for.
Mark Dale, founder and head designer at The No.6

creates an inspirational environment for design,
blending art and high concept with proven performance
templates. That is The No.6.”

deck concepts, core developments, concave bottom
